The Boomerang chair is crafted using high-quality materials. The main seating part is made of 15mm thick clear acrylic, which starts from the back and extends to the legs. The wooden arms, with their boomerang shape, not only provide support but also add a natural warmth to the design.

The Boomerang chair is part of the Fly Collection, a series of designs by Feza Koca that embody the concept of freedom. Each piece in the collection draws inspiration from different sources, and the Boomerang chair represents the freedom of flight. Creating the Boomerang chair presented its fair share of challenges. The design needed to be durable enough to support the weight of the user while maintaining the purity and simplicity of the acrylic and wood combination. To achieve this, the wooden arms were carefully grooved to securely hold the acrylic without the need for additional fixing materials. Special strong glue was used to fix the acrylic in place, and the chair was left to dry with the help of strong fixers.

The Boomerang chair made its debut in February 2015 at the Alldesign exhibition in Istanbul. Since then, it has garnered recognition for its innovative design. In 2016, the Boomerang chair was awarded the prestigious Iron A' Design Award in the Furniture Design category. This award recognizes well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements.
